Chicago’s River North area has many so-called healthy food restaurants. They range from trendy to near pretentious fine dining. The menus are similar, ingredient wise. On a recent lunch outing, I ordered the Chronic 14, a wrap filled with steak, avocado, carrots, red onion, spinach, a 7-minute egg, and chimichurri sauce. A small carrot salad is on the side.
The wrap was one of the best I ate in a long time. The steak was tender, and quantity wise, it was just enough food.
My lunch companion ordered the Farro and Away, a grain bowl with roasted broccoli, roasted tomatoes, kale, spinach, basil pesto sauce, roasted pine nuts, parmesan cheese
